The cold shiver...
The Søndervig Winter Bathing Festival is undoubtedly the most festive and chilly of the year, when the last day of the year is celebrated with champagne & Danish ‘kransekage’ – and of course a dip in the cold North Sea.
It is a real West Jutland New Year’s celebration with 2,000 participants and over twice as many spectators – a fantastic way to end the year.

Søndervig Vinterbadefestival is held in the traditional way every year on 31st of December at 11:00 on Søndervig Strand – at the end of Badevej.

Søndervig Winter Bathing Festival Bonus: Free Access to Søndervig Badeland!
When you participate in the Søndervig Winter Bathing Festival, you can enjoy free access to Søndervig Badeland on Lodbergsvej on December 31. Søndervig Badeland remains open until 2:00 PM
Simply present your Søndervig Winter Bathing Festival wristband at the entrance and gain complimentary access. Enjoy a refreshing dip and have fun in the water park
